Hawkins, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage collections and customer account reconciliation. You will research disputes, respond to inquiries, and pursue past-due balances while upholding SOX and corporate controls.

Ideal candidates have 0–1+ years in collections or credit, strong communication, and proficiency with JD Edwards and Microsoft Office. This on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package and yearly compensation in the $53k–$58k range plus bonus

Qualifikationen

• 0–1+ years collections and/or credit experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Organized and detail oriented.
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
• JD Edwards software experience preferred.
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook experience.
• Attention to detail and follow through on all action items.
• Collaborative in a cross-functional environment.

Aufgaben

• Perform collection activities and reconcile accounts.
• Work with customers and sales agents on outstanding balances.
• Make recommendations for doubtful accounts, debt write-offs and third-party collections.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and initiate invoice corrections.
• Review and recommend process improvements to increase efficiency.
• Maintain customer information and sales tax data.
• Review, update, and maintain reporting and department spreadsheets.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and internal departments.
• Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Follow SOX procedures and corporate accounting controls.
