What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Ensure daily activities contribute to company goals for cash collections and accounts receivable over 90 days
- Research outstanding balances and take necessary actions for timely resolution, including recommending demographic changes to patient accounts
- Resubmit accurate claims in various formats, including CMS-1500 and electronic 837
- Negotiate payment plans with patients in accordance with company collection policies
- Communicate consistently and professionally with other employees while working under specified deadlines

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent required; some college coursework is a plus
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience in medical collections, with knowledge of managed care and insurance reimbursement
- Working knowledge of automated billing systems; experience with CPR+ preferred
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Ability to type 40 wpm and proficiency with a 10-key calculator

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Experience in home infusion therapy collections
- Familiarity with ICD-9, CPT, and HCPCS coding
- Ability to independently obtain and interpret information
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
