We are Future Capital Tech — a strategy studio exploring cultural assets and
collectibles through data. We're building a pricing intelligence system that integrates
multi-market information from eBay, Yahoo Japan Auctions, and other global
sources.

Role Overview
We’re looking for a researcher with a deep passion for collectibles — especially art
toys, sneakers, cards, and high-end accessories — and an interest in the cultural
meanings behind them. The ideal candidate will bring a cross-cultural and
qualitative research perspective to explore market dynamics in Japan and globally.

Responsibilities
- Monitor and compare prices for BE@RBRICK, KAWS, INSTINCTOY, limited edition
art, collectible cards, sneakers, and accessories across Yahoo JP, eBay, and other
platforms
- Conduct qualitative research and write reports on cultural value, design philosophy,
brand storytelling, and the reasons behind popularity
- Create basic tagging systems for item attributes (size, edition, brand, release time,
packaging)
- Analyze historical shifts in market behavior and collector culture
Preferred Background
- Academic or professional background in cultural studies, anthropology, sociology,
art/design history, visual culture, branding, or consumer psychology
- Passion for art toys, street fashion resale, card games, or luxury resale markets
- Strong research and writing skills; able to communicate structured insights
- Basic data handling (e.g. Excel) is a plus but not required
- Fluent in both English and Chinese for writing and communication
