Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services US is seeking a Collateral Specialist I in Houston to support collateral management activities. The role works with partners, vendors, dealers, and internal teams to ensure documents are received and transferred to the custodian promptly.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in collateral-related processes, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication. Overtime and regional travel may be required, with a focus on accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience working with collateral management or similar processes.
• High school diploma and/or GED.
• Minimum 1 year experience in Auto Industry, loan processing or title administration (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating and preparing outstanding reports and act as a liaison with the collateral manager and other SFS departments.
• Liaise between SFS Alliance partners, banks, affiliates, and vendors on collateral exceptions, securitizations, close-outs and related activities.
• Work with electronic files and documents provided by vendors, partners, banks and affiliates.
• Clear outstanding exceptions for missing documents and title paperwork per SFS policies to maintain quality.
• Collaborate with the Collateral Clerk and Title Clerk to track collateral files and titles within Houston operations.
• Prepare reports for business units and management and maintain production stats.
• Send letters to borrowers or dealerships on outstanding titles.
• Escalate unresolved collateral and titling issues to Lead/Supervisor/Manager.
• Perform clerical duties: filing, scanning, photocopying, invoicing; maintain confidentiality.
