Job summary

LP Finance in Johnson City, TN seeks a Loan Servicer/Collateral Specialist to assist with servicing current or past-due loans and to create or review loan documents protecting collateral.

You will handle collateral perfection (titles, insurance, UCC filings), verify documents, run data analyses, and support recovery processes while maintaining compliance and timely communications with clients.

Qualifications

• Experience with vehicle titling and legal processes such as bankruptcy and UCC filing.
• Ability to handle time-sensitive documents with hard deadlines.
• Proficient understanding and use of representative sampling techniques.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 or related software.

Responsibilities

• Assist with servicing activities of current or recently past due loans.
• Review and process Same as Cash promotional offers and payoffs.
• Ensure perfection of collateral documents such as titles, insurance, and UCC finance statements.
• Verifying all collateral documents are present, audit documents for original vs. copies.
• Collects, reviews, and analyzes data related to the company’s information systems and functions.
• Initiates and monitors the collateral recovery process and related documentation.
• Determines whether a system or function is operating according to organizational and industry procedures and guidelines.
• Conducts frequent reports and efficiency analysis on assigned services and systems to identify delinquent customers and remedies for default.
• Identifies discrepancies, risks, and other problems, then reports findings to upper management; recommends appropriate corrective measures.
• Communicates with clients.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Assist with incoming calls and returned or past due payments within 1-5 days past due.
• Review and process Same as Cash promotional offers and payoffs.
• Ensure perfection of collateral documents such as titles, insurance, and UCC finance statements.
• Verifying all collateral documents are present, audit documents for original vs. copies.
• Collects, reviews, and analyzes data related to the company’s information systems and functions.
