Job summary

Stellantis Financial Services, Houston, seeks a Collateral Specialist I to assist management of collateral by coordinating with partners, vendors, and internal teams to ensure documents are received and transferred to the custodian promptly.

The role emphasizes accuracy, timely reporting, and collaboration across departments, with regular interaction with the Title and Custodian teams. Overtime and travel up to 10% may be required due to business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 1 year experience working with collateral management or similar processes.
• Good analytical and organizational skills with close attention to detail.
• Intermediate MS Office skill in Excel, Access, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interface work autonomously and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Assist with creating and preparing reports and liaise with collateral manager and other departments.
• Act as liaison between SFS Alliance partners, banks, affiliates, and vendors on collateral issues.
• Work with electronic files and documents provided by vendors, partners, banks and affiliates.
• Clear outstanding exceptions for missing documents and title paperwork per SFS policies.
• Coordinate with Collateral Clerk and Title Clerk to track files sent to the custodian and Titles department.
• Prepare reports for business units and track production stats.
• Send letters to borrowers or dealerships on outstanding titles.
• Escalate unresolved collateral and titling issues to Lead/Supervisor/Manager.
• Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and processing invoices.
