Job summary

JPMorgan Chase & Co. is seeking a Client Service Associate II in the Collateral management team in Columbus to support public fund collateralization and pledging instruments.

You will execute transactions accurately and on time while maintaining a strong risk and control posture, collaborating with clients and internal partners to improve end-to-end workflows and collateral efficiency. The role emphasizes handling multiple priorities, ensuring compliance, and contributing to process improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience required.
• Experience in client service, collateral management, or related financial services operations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients by administering collateral and pledging instruments accurately and on time.
• Oversee letters of credit documentation, coordinate with clients and internal partners, and support issuance and maintenance.
• Maintain collateral records in designated systems and adjust security positions as needed.
• Execute collateral-related transactions and requests in a time-sensitive environment with emphasis on accuracy and risk awareness.
• Review agreements and policies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and procedures.
• Document processes to strengthen risk and control framework.
• Develop knowledge across collateral types (government securities, municipal securities, mortgage-backed securities, letters of credit).
• Contribute to process improvements and workflow enhancements.
• Build relationships with clients and internal stakeholders to improve collateral efficiency and execution.
• Investigate issues, communicate outcomes clearly, and escalate when needed.
• Prepare reporting and presentations using Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for stakeholder updates.
