Job summary

JPMorganChase in New York seeks a Margin and Collateral Analyst to oversee collateral and secured/unsecured credit exposure within Credit Operations. You will work closely with leadership, Risk, Capital Advisory, and technology to manage collateral, execute client requests, and escalate issues for timely resolution.

Responsibilities include setting up collateral terms in systems, monitoring daily collateral activity, and ensuring compliance through analysis and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Strong project management skills – experience managing process reengineering initiatives.
• High-level of proficiency in organizing, prioritizing, and managing issues.
• Strong independent judgment and awareness of appropriate escalation.
• Attention to detail, strong analytic skills.
• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Strong excel skills.

Responsibilities

• Set-up agreement terms regarding collateral in credit systems for ongoing compliance monitoring.
• Monitor collateral daily and identify non-compliant scenarios; escalate as needed.
• Manage intraday collateral transactions and ensure compliance with covenants.
• Amend original agreement terms and reflect changes in systems for monitoring.
• Update credit system valuations for external assets and manage third-party pledge scenarios.
• Participate in credit system defect ID, UAT, and business requirements discussions.
• Lead initiatives to resolve control gaps and improve processes for efficiency.
