Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a detail-oriented Collateral Monitoring specialist to support reconciliation and processing of collateral and brokerage transactions with significant financial impact.

You will respond to client inquiries, analyze complex requests, and escalate issues when needed while collaborating with cross-functional partners to ensure accuracy and compliance. This role emphasizes performance, service quality, and risk-aware decision-making.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience finding numerical discrepancies and performing transaction research with regulatory compliance guidance.
• Experience handling high-volume workflows while maintaining accuracy and supporting team objectives.
• Ability to work collaboratively, take ownership of complex assignments, and exceed performance metrics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) and using macros.
• Ability to identify risks, ask clarifying questions, escalate issues appropriately.

Responsibilities

• Process moderately complex transaction processing and reconciliation with medium to large monetary impact.
• Respond to moderately complex client inquiries to support efficiency and service quality.
• Analyze and resolve transactions requiring escalation and demonstrate sound judgment.
• Identify risks and opportunities for process improvements through collateral calls and post-processing reviews.
• Balance team needs, support high-volume periods, and handle complex cases to drive results.
• Understand end-to-end process flow and downstream impacts across units.
