Qualifications

• Valid state licensure as an SLP.
• Current BLS certification.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology preferred; CCC-SLP preferred.
• New graduates welcome; CCC-SLP preferred.
• Essential skills include critical thinking and strong communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develops personalized treatment plans, utilizes standardized assessments, and monitors patient progress.
• Educates patients, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing practices.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintains accurate documentation, adheres to safety protocols, and participates in professional development activities.
• Performs additional duties within scope of practice as needed.
