Job summary

VONQ Group is seeking a licensed practical nurse to provide patient care within a collaborative medical team. You will work with physicians, office staff, and medical center teams to ensure timely, accurate, and compliant patient services under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include preparing patients for exams, managing records, and supporting scheduling and lab procedures while maintaining safety and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse with graduation from an accredited program.
• Knowledge of basic procedures and patient care protocols.
• Ability to work within physician-led teams.

Responsibilities

• Good interpersonal skills with a positive approach to patients.
• Acts as team member, treating staff and patients with courtesy and respect.
• Contributes to the medical center's patient care mission and philosophy.
• Reviews and updates the primary care physician’s daily schedule.
• Ensures patient records are available and prepared with labs, tests, and forms prior to visits.
• Manages patient flow to minimize wait times and optimize room usage.
• Assists physician with examinations and procedures.
• Assists with EKGs, holter monitoring, phlebotomy and basic lab work as directed.
• Schedules tests and therapies; assists with hospital admissions scheduling.
• Prepares rooms between procedures and restocks equipment.
• Instructs patients on aftercare procedures; adheres to policies and safety rules.
• Performs other duties and provides coverage as needed.
