Job summary

Vanderbilt Health is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to support the licensed healthcare team in direct patient care and to provide healthcare information to patients and families. You will work under the supervision of a licensed professional, collaborating to evaluate the patient’s plan of care and progress toward goals.

You will partner with RNs, follow established care plans, and contribute to a safe, healthy environment while adhering to VUMC standards and licensure regulations.

Qualifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with Tennessee licensure.
• Minimum less than 1 year of relevant experience in patient care.
• Ability to collaborate with RNs and the healthcare team.
• Experience delivering patient education and care planning as part of a care team.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with patients/families and health care providers in the delivery of health care services.
