Job summary

Redgate & Somerset Bridge Medical Centres in New Jersey seeks a General Practitioner to deliver high-quality medical care within a busy primary care setting. Responsibilities

• 1.1 The delivery of highly effective medical care to the entitled population
• 1.2 The provision of services commensurate with the GMS contract
• 1.3 Generic prescribing adhering to local and national guidance
• 1.4 Effective management of long-term conditions
• 1.5 Processing of administration in a timely manner, including referrals, lab reports, workflow documents, repeat prescription requests and other administrative tasks
• 1.6 Any private work during the working day will be carried as part of normal duties and fees remain the property of the Practice
• 1.7 Availability for surgery consultations, video consultations, telephone consultations and home visits as required
• 1.8 Maintain accurate clinical records in line with guidance
• 1.9 Working collaboratively, sharing the practice workload
• 1.10 Adhere to guidelines and audits
• 1.11 Contribute to continuous improvement and quality initiatives
• 1.12 Take delegated responsibility for a specific area of the QOF
• 1.13 Attend and contribute to practice meetings
• 1.14 Contribute to development and maintenance of practice including governance, training, finance and HR
• 1.15 Ensure compliance with appraisal
• 1.16 Prepare and complete revalidation
• 1.17 Commit to CPD
• 1.18 Support medical student training
• 1.19 Support partners to achieve strategic aims and manage income/expenditure
• 1.20 Review and adhere to protocols and policies
• 1.21 Encourage collaboration and continuous improvement
• 1.22 Undertake general GP duties in primary care
• 2.0 Participate in audits and local initiatives
• 2.3 Review significant events using RCA
