Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a PSC-approved college/university in education.
• Valid teaching certificate for the appropriate field.
• Endorsements in ESOL & Gifted or equivalent endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Teaches grade-relevant and mandated curriculum.
• Plans and delivers lessons for in-person and virtual learning with evidence of preparation.
• Communicates with district personnel, students, and parents via phone, email, or video conferencing.
• Creates a classroom environment conducive to learning and development.
• Uses internet and web-based technology to provide instruction and collaboration.
• Assesses and reports progress, attendance, and performance data.
• Manages student behavior per policy and supports conferences with families.
• Directs paraprofessional support and attends professional development sessions.
