Job summary

DeKalb Brilliance Academy seeks Lead Teachers to design and facilitate rigorous, culturally responsive instruction while refining curriculum and school culture. You will report to Assistant Principals and work with grade teams to promote excellence for every student.

Strong instructional skill, growth mindset, and collaboration are essential. Applicants must hold a Georgia teaching certification, with a bachelor’s degree and at least two years of teaching experience; masters preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid Georgia teaching certification required.
• Minimum two years teaching experience preferred (K-3 preferred).
• All candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree; Masters salary premium noted.

Responsibilities

• Lead instructional planning and delivery across core subjects and social-emotional learning.
• Collaborate with grade-level and content teams to plan units and analyze student work.
• Communicate with families monthly about student progress and support school culture.
