A leading technology solutions provider in Huntsville is seeking an experienced individual to support the operation and maintenance of a large Exchange 2016 and Microsoft 365 environment. Job description

Responsibilities

• Support the operation and maintenance of a large Exchange 2016 and Microsoft 365 environment for the MDA.
• Conduct daily operation and maintenance activities as well as assist the determination of future needs and direction for collaboration services.
• Interface with collaboration services customers and peers in other service areas to resolve issues and meet mission requirements.
• Utilize strong troubleshooting skills and in-depth knowledge of Exchange 2016, Teams, Exchange Online, and other Microsoft 365 applications and functions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Primary duty hours are 0800-1600 M-F with periodic evening work to support system patching.

Requirements

• Education/Training: Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering or science discipline preferred; Active DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (e.g., Security+) required.
• Experience: 6+ years of general (full-time) work experience; 3+ years of directly related experience; experience may be reduced with completion of advanced education; experience must include configuring, operating and maintaining a Microsoft 365 environment; experience with scripting (e.g., PowerShell) required; demonstrable understanding of Windows 2008/2016, Exchange 2010/2016, Lync, Blackberry Enterprise Server, TCP/IP, DNS, and Active Directory required; familiarity with virtualization technologies such as VMware experience with journaling and e‑mail archive/compliance solutions preferred.
• Security: Must be a US citizen; candidate must hold a minimum DoD issued Secret Clearance.
• Physical Requirements: Able to occasionally reach with hands and arms; prolonged periods of computer screen use, while sitting or standing at a desk; adhere to safety protocols when in work areas requiring use of PPE (e.g., eyewear, gloves, masks, hearing protection, steel‑toed shoes, etc.); able to safely lift and carry up to 20 pounds at a time.

Salary: $110,000 - $130,000. Salary rates for this position are competitive and commensurate with experience and industry standards. We offer a comprehensive benefits package that may include health insurance, paid time off, and retirement savings options.
