Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Engineer for Collaboration and Productivity to own the backbone of how the enterprise works in Microsoft 365. You will shape Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Azure AD across hybrid environments.

You’ll design scalable, secure, and compliant collaboration architectures, lead cross-team efforts, and mentor other engineers. The role emphasizes deep technical leadership and hands-on delivery in a large enterprise.

Qualifications

• 10+ years with Exchange (on-premises and/or Online) and Microsoft 365 suite.
• Deep experience with Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive.
• Strong knowledge of 365 architecture and hybrid setups.
• Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID and security concepts.
• Background in messaging transport, compliance, retention, and DLP.

Design the way an enterprise collaborates

You’ll be the go-to engineer shaping how the entire firm communicates, shares, and gets work done across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive.

This is not ticket-chasing. This is architecting and tuning the core collaboration stack that everyone touches every day.

You’ll sit at the center of mail flow, Teams architecture, SharePoint information architecture, OneDrive governance, compliance, and security – owning the hard problems and the high-impact decisions.

What You’ll Work On

You’ll own and evolve a complex Microsoft 365 collaboration ecosystem:

• Exchange Online messaging and mail flow
• Microsoft Teams architecture and collaboration experiences
• SharePoint Online information architecture and content management
• OneDrive governance and secure file collaboration
• Hybrid Microsoft 365 environments and connectivity
• Messaging security, compliance, and information protection
• Identity and authentication across Azure AD / Entra ID
• Enterprise-scale performance, capacity, and reliability

Day to day you’ll be deep in Microsoft 365, Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Azure AD / Entra ID.

Your mandate: keep collaboration fast, secure, compliant, and always on.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise-grade solutions across Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive
• Lead technical efforts for mail flow, messaging security, hybrid configurations, compliance, and information protection
• Architect and optimize collaboration experiences across Teams, SharePoint information architecture, and OneDrive governance
• Troubleshoot complex issues involving identity, authentication, hybrid connectivity, mail routing, and content management
• Partner with security, infrastructure, and application teams to align collaboration services with broader platform standards
• Evaluate new Microsoft 365 features and capabilities and recommend adoption strategies
• Create technical documentation, standards, and runbooks for collaboration and productivity platforms
• Mentor other engineers and provide technical leadership within the collaboration space
• Participate in capacity planning and performance tuning for collaboration workloads
• Drive operational excellence initiatives across Microsoft 365 collaboration services

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of hands-on experience with Exchange (on-premises and/or Online) and the broader Microsoft application suite
• Deep practical experience with Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive
• Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 architecture and hybrid environments
• Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID and related identity and security concepts
• Background in messaging transport, compliance and retention, eDiscovery, information barriers, and data loss prevention
• Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues independently
• Clear communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience operating in an enterprise or large-scale environment
