The Allen County War Memorial Coliseum is seeking a Part-time Maintenance Worker to support the Coliseum facilities in Electrical, HVAC/Plumbing or Audio/Visual tasks. You will follow directions from the Plant Facilities Manager and work with minimal supervision to complete daily maintenance duties.
Responsibilities include basic electrical troubleshooting, lighting changes, plumbing and HVAC repairs, and setting up sound equipment for events.

Under the Direction of the Plant Facilities Manager, the Part-time Maintenance Worker performs maintenance to Coliseum facilities in one (1) of three (3) areas: Electrical, HVAC/Plumbing or Audio/Visual. This position is not covered as defined by The Board of Commissioners of the County of Allen Employee Handbook.
The Part-time Maintenance Worker maintains frequent contact with other Coliseum employees.
The Part-time Maintenance Worker’s duties involve moderate lifting, pushing, pulling reaching and/or more than normal visual or hearing acuity required for precision work. Performs in an abnormal sitting or standing position. Manual dexterity moderate. Occasional exposure to hazardous work conditions (noise, fumes, height, slippery, vibration, moving parts). Moderate exposure to dust, grease, temperature, noise, inadequate lighting, inclement weather, etc. May work where safety or health may be a factor.
