Job summary

Lamb Weston in Hermiston, OR is seeking a Laborer Cold Storage Trainee to assist the Warehouse Forklift Operator and perform essential sanitation and bulk handling duties. You will help ensure smooth product flow, inspect bulk products, and support safety and GMP programs in a fast-paced environment.

With hands-on training and opportunities for growth, you will gain practical experience in warehouse operations while contributing to high-quality food production.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate, comprehend, and follow instructions in English (both written and oral).
• Sanitation qualification is required. Training provided if not qualified.
• Good communication skills in oral and written English.
• Must adhere to company rules, GMPs and safety.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe work practices at all times and participate in safety programs.
• Operate mainline and by-line hydraulic blend systems.
• Inspect bulk product to ensure it meets standards.
• Move bulk products using pallet jack and tote room equipment.
• Build tote bins and apply stacking aids to finished product.
• Notify supervisor of any problems and assist with sanitation.
