Job summary

Quirch Foods is hiring for a warehouse selector in Dallas, TX. The role involves picking orders from pick tickets in a refrigerated/frozen warehouse and efficiently transporting product to the shipping area.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks, applying FIFO, and maintaining product integrity. Candidates should be able to stand, bend, and lift up to 100 pounds, work Sundays through Thursdays, and comply with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and comprehend English to perform shipping paperwork and communicate with management.
• Experience operating powered equipment in a warehouse setting.
• Familiarity with scanning equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Select product from pick tickets in refrigerated/frozen warehouse.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and other equipment as needed.
• Identify and select cases from inventory locations.
• Pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Stack product on pallets in specific sequence and location.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Return undelivered or mis-picked product to proper locations.
• Transport product to shipping area within expected time.
• Follow safety rules and maintain a safe work environment.
• Adhere to attendance policy and complete shifts as scheduled.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections on MHE.
• Clean and perform maintenance duties as directed.
• Other duties as assigned
