Job summary

Quirch Foods is seeking a warehouse picker to accurately select products from a refrigerated/frozen warehouse and prepare them for shipment. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, ensure accurate order fulfillment, and maintain product quality through proper handling.

Ideal candidates will have warehouse experience, English literacy, and familiarity with scanning equipment. The role requires adherence to safety rules and a willingness to work Sunday through Thursday evenings in a cold

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Experience in a warehouse environment as a picker/selector.
• Familiarity with CK31 & CK71 scanner is a plus.
• MHE and SQF certified preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow directions to pick products from a refrigerated/frozen warehouse.
• Operate forklift, pallet jack and related equipment as needed.
• Identify and select cases from inventory locations.
• Pick, palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Transport product to shipping area within expected time.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage.
• Adhere to safety rules and attendance policy.
• Perform pre/post trip inspections on MHE.
• Assist with warehouse cleaning and other duties as assigned.
