Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a warehouse associate to pick, stage, and transport products within a freezer, cooler, and dry warehouse. You will record data in the WMS, maintain inventory accuracy, and help ensure safety and productivity standards are met.

The role requires operating forklifts and pallet jacks, following established procedures, and working with supervision to minimize shrink and ensure accurate shipping preparation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Material Handling Equipment certification or ability to become certified.
• Reach truck experience is a plus (Crown and/or Raymond).
• Must be able to perform duties safely in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Select products from inventory, label, and stage on pallets.
• Load and unload product deliveries as required.
• Record item information in Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Maintain accurate records of shortages and report to supervisor.
• Stack products on pallets with heavier items on bottom to prevent damage.
• Deliver stacked pallets to designated area on loading dock for loading.
