Job summary

Buckhead & Newport Meat and Seafood is seeking a warehouse associate to manage loading, unloading, depalletizing, receiving, put-away, replenishments, and pallet selection under PWMs. The role involves freezer, cooler, and dry environments, strict safety adherence, and productivity targets.

The position requires forklift operation certification (or the ability to obtain) and the ability to lift up to 100 lbs as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred; forklift experience required.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• Certification on material handling equipment is required or ability to become certified.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly and up to 100 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Follow tasking to transport pallets safely between staging areas.
• Put away product using MHE, primarily a reach forklift.
• Inspect product for shortages, damage, or deterioration.
• Replenish product to full pallet or hand stack location as directed.
• Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely, maintaining PWMs.
• Ensure neat work areas and accurate warehouse locations.
• Report unsafe issues immediately.
