Job summary

Finer Foods in Chicago, IL is seeking a warehouse associate to perform general cleaning in the cold storage area and support operations during overnight shifts. You will handle sweeping, mopping, packaging material disposal, and waste removal as part of daily duties.

The role requires forklift and walkie rider operation, ability to work Sundays through Fridays with weekends and holidays, and lifting up to 50 pounds in a cold environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive forklift and walkie rider.
• Flexible to work different shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass a pre‑employment physical, drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to work in cold environment (35degrees).

Responsibilities

• General maintenance of cold storage warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, and wiping down walls.
• Gather and dispose of cardboard and packaging materials.
• Gather and empty out warehouse garbage cans.
• Other miscellaneous cleaning projects
