Job summary

MIMCO/Balford Farms is seeking a Warehouse Associate in New Jersey to handle receiving, storing, picking, and loading in ambient, refrigerated, and freezer zones. Maintain accuracy and safety while ensuring proper handling and documentation.

Responsibilities include counting, using scanners, following SOPs, and communicating across departments. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work in cold environments, and be available for overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to stand, walk, push or pull a majority of the day and lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
• Experience in the food and beverage industry preferred.
• Must be able to work in temperatures of 34–40 degrees Fahrenheit (and possibly 0–10 degrees Fahrenheit).
• Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Receive products accurately and promptly.
• Verify quantity and description of materials received.
• Examine incoming products for temperature and damage.
• Store materials per SOP.
• Pick, assemble and fill orders for shipment.
• Load orders onto vehicles.
• Count products as listed on cycle counts.
• Operate scan gun/finger scanner for picking/receiving.
• Maintain good documentation and communication with other departments.
• Follow Good Warehousing Practices and PPE requirements.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area.
