Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload stacks and move items to storage according to type.
• Sort and store perishable goods in refrigerated area.
• Maintain organization and rotation of stock in coolers and warehouse.
• Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials and distribute to production workers.
• Accurately pull and prepare customer orders for shipping and for loading onto trucks.
• Check information for accurate shipment; verify bills of lading; ensure product cleanliness.
• Use computer to scan or enter/maintain inventories and records.
• Complete daily pick sheets, cycle counts, and production take backs.
• Assist with monthly inventories and year-end counts.
• Monitor materials and report irregularities to supervisor.
• Operate forklift as needed and maintain safety practices.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Follow GMPs and all safety, quality, and sanitation requirements.
