Job summary

Quirch Foods is hiring for a warehouse selector in a refrigerated/frozen environment. You will read pick tickets, select cases, palletize, wrap, and scan orders while maintaining FIFO. The role requires operating MHE, meeting safety standards, and working Sundays to Thursdays in the evening shift.

Candidates should be 18+, have warehouse experience, and be able to lift up to 100 pounds. SQF familiarity and English proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Work Schedule: Sunday through Thursday. 5 PM to finish, available to work extended hours, extra shifts and holidays.
• Able to read, write, communicate, and comprehend English to perform tasks such as reading labels, pick lists, scanners, and shipping paperwork.
• Experience in a warehouse environment as a selector operating powered equipment (electric pallet jacks, forklifts, MHE).
• Familiar with CK31 & CK71 scanner; SQF certification preferred.
• Ability to work in refrigerated/frozen environment (0–36°F).
• Physical requirements include standing, walking, lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and safely pick product from a pick ticket in a refrigerated/frozen warehouse.
• Operate forklift, electric pallet jack, and related equipment as needed.
• Identify and select cases from inventory locations; palletize, wrap and scan orders using FIFO.
• Stack product on pallets in a specific sequence and location for shipment.
• Maintain product integrity through proper handling and storage; return undelivered/mis-picked items to inventory.
• Transport product from storage to shipping area within required time.
• Adhere to all safety rules and warehouse policies; participate in inspections and cleaning duties.
