Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Reach Truck Operator to support our Humble, TX warehouse. This role handles stand-up forklifts in a high-rack environment, driving materials in both freezer (-10°F) and ambient areas while maintaining strict inventory accuracy and safety compliance.

The position requires operating in a temperature-controlled setting, adhering to GMP and company procedures, and collaborating with internal departments to ensure efficient receiving, storing, and shipping processes.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification or ability to be certified.
• Experience in freezer/cold-storage environments
• Experience with inventory systems and WMS
• Prior experience in food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environments
• Experience performing cycle counts and inventory reconciliation
• RF scanners/handheld devices experience
• Experience loading/unloading trailers
• Familiarity with FIFO inventory practices

Responsibilities

• Operate material handling equipment in high-rack, narrow-aisle warehouse.
• Receive, store, stage, and load products with inventory accuracy.
• Check pallet, product, lot numbers, and locations during receipts and transfers.
• Maintain cold and ambient temperature operations from -10°F to 100°F.
• Follow GMP, safety, and sanitation guidelines; follow all procedures.
• Conduct cycle counts as assigned; reconcile inventory with supervisor.
• Communicate with QA, Customer Service, and Maintenance as needed.
