Johnsonville Sausage, LLC is seeking a Material Handler I for first shift in Watertown, WI to support shipping and receiving operations. You’ll move materials with PIVs, scan using handheld devices, and help assemble customer orders while upholding safety and quality standards.

This role emphasizes teamwork, inventory accuracy, and timely product flow. You’ll work in a cold environment with potential for a monthly bonus and comprehensive benefits as part of Johnsonville's safety‑driven culture.

Qualifications

• Experience in shipping/warehouse with PIVs preferred.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and maintain a good safety record.
• SAP experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Driving PIV standing forklifts to move materials within the facility.
• Using handheld scanning devices to move materials within the SAP system.
• Assemble customer orders and keep order pickers supplied with necessary product.
• Maintain high standards of detail related to product specifications and quality.
• Participate in daily meetings and project teams.
• Communicate with other departments regarding schedule changes.
• Pull spice and stage for the next day’s run.
• Communicate and work with truck drivers for delivery and pickup.
• Complete miscellaneous tasks as needed.
