Job summary

Johnsonville in Sheboygan Falls, WI is seeking a General Production backup Machine Operator for the First Shift to support the Countryside facility. You will work with a team operating sausage production lines, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time output.

This hourly, full-time position offers opportunities to learn multiple machine roles (Stuffer, Grinder, Casepacker), participate in DPS programs, and join a team dedicated to The Johnsonville Way.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and understand a production schedule.
• Demonstrated ability to lead others and work without direct supervision.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn multiple machine roles.
• Excellent attendance and performance record.
• Ability to document responsibilities and maintain DPS programs.

Responsibilities

• Manufacture sausage products for global consumption.
• Collaborate with team to achieve safety, development, and efficiency goals.
• Operate with state-of-the-art technology in production.
• Participate in daily Tailgate meetings and project teams.
• Set personal and team goals to achieve high performance.
• Assist with training and cross-training on lines as needed.
