Job summary

Americold Logistics, LLC. seeks a Forklift Operator to support receiving, storage and shipment of food products. You will operate multiple forklift types and RF devices to move items safely within the facility.

Requirements include at least 1 year of forklift experience, ability to work in freezer/cooler environments, and capacity to select and pick cases as needed. Shift options include various daytime schedules with potential for raises and differential pay.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of forklift experience.
• Must be able to work in the freezer and cooler.
• Must be able to order, select and pick cases.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight safely using proper equipment to move products to storage.
• Stack and store merchandise, pick orders, check freight for accuracy and damage.
• Operate sit-down/stand-up forklifts and RF scanners following safety rules.
• Meet production standards while keeping a clean, orderly work area.
• Assist with inventory, cleaning, or forklift battery changes as needed.
