Job summary

Sysco Corp. is seeking a warehouse associate to handle loading, unloading, put-away, replenishments, and pallet movement in freezer, cooler, and dry areas. You will follow PWMs, operate MHE like reach forklifts, and ensure safe, accurate handling to meet productivity goals.

Must be able to read simple instructions, work in a team, and pass forklift certification. This is a full-time role with a mid-shift schedule and pay rate of $24.62 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Must be able to read and write simple correspondence.
• Must be able to speak effectively in one-on-one and small group situations.

Responsibilities

• Follow PWM-directed tasking to transport pallets of product safely between staging areas (docks, pack/holds, manual depal area and storage areas).
• Put away product using material handling equipment (MHE), primarily a reach forklift.
• Inspect product being moved for shortages, damage, quality, or deterioration of packing and report to supervisor.
• Replenish product to full pallet or hand stack location/slot from reserve location following directed tasking and PWMs.
• Remove shrink wrap, bands or tape when placing a pallet into a selection location for replenishments.
• Deliver stacked pallets to assigned area on loading dock and ensure proper staging and storage.
