Responsabilidades

• Sets up, operates, maintains and monitors the cold rolling and temper mill to reduce thickness and achieve specified surface finishes on steel coils.
• Reads production schedules and work orders to determine processing sequences.
• Positions steel coils using cranes or hoists, and loads coils onto conveyors.
• Monitors process information, checks thickness and surface quality, and identifies any non-conforming material.
• Performs data recordings for Quality Assurance and maintains proper mill settings and tooling.
• Directs and trains other workers to operate mill equipment and handle coils safely.
• Reports maintenance needs and ensures correct tagging and traceability of finished coils.
• Collaborates with team leaders to meet production and quality requirements.
