Job summary

Skana Aluminum Company in Manitowoc, Wisconsin is seeking a Cold Mill Technician on the B shift to help operate our cold mill and produce high-quality aluminum coils.

This hands-on role offers a rotating 5:45pm–6am schedule, 180 days off per year, paid training, and opportunities to earn more through the PayForKnowledge program as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Previous machine operation experience preferred.
• Pride in maintaining a clean, organized workspace.
• Flexibility with scheduling, including training on off-shifts.
• Safety-first mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior machining experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep the Cold Mill running around the clock to produce aluminum coils.
• Work as part of a team to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Contribute to quality and process improvements on the line.

You'll be part of a team keeping our Cold Mill running around the clock, producing the aluminum that powers products across the Midwest and beyond. No two days are exactly the same, but every day matters.

What We're Looking For

• Previous machine operation experience preferred
• A strong work ethic and reliability
• Flexibility with scheduling, including a willingness to train on off-shifts
• A positive attitude and team-player mindset in a fast-paced, safety-first environment
• Pride in keeping a clean, organized workspace

Prior machining experience is a plus!

This is a hands-on plant role with exposure to heat, noise, moving equipment, and forklift traffic. Required PPE includes safety glasses and safety shoes (we've got you covered on both).
