Skana Aluminum Company in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Cold Mill Technician on the B shift to operate a high-capacity mill and contribute to producing top-quality aluminum coils.

You'll work nights on a 5:45pm–6am, 2-2-3 rotating schedule, with 180 days off per year and a PayForKnowledge program that rewards learning.

This hands-on role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and reliability in a fast-paced plant environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Experience operating industrial machinery is preferred.
• Must be reliable and safety-first.
• Willing to train on off-shifts.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized workspace.
• Prior machining experience is a plus!

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor the cold mill to produce aluminum coils.
• Support a safety-first, high-throughput production environment.

You'll be part of a team keeping our Cold Mill running around the clock, producing the aluminum that powers products across the Midwest and beyond. No two days are exactly the same, but every day matters.

• Previous machine operation experience preferred
• A strong work ethic and reliability
• Flexibility with scheduling, including a willingness to train on off-shifts
• A positive attitude and team-player mindset in a fast-paced, safety-first environment
• Pride in keeping a clean, organized workspace

This is a hands-on plant role with exposure to heat, noise, moving equipment, and forklift traffic. Required PPE includes safety glasses and safety shoes (we've got you covered on both).
