The role offers 3:00 pm–11:30 pm shifts, overtime opportunities, and a $22.00–$29.00/hour compensation with strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Prior experience operating single and multi-die header machines is a plus.
• Continuous Improvement mindset.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to complete routine production and quality reports.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Understanding and compliance with safety rules and regulations.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist and observe Setup Operators in operation and setup of machinery.
• Select, install, and align dies, cutting tools, guides, and stops to setup machine.
• Position coil of metal wire or rod on feed spindle and thread it through straightening rolls into feed mechanism.
• Adjust settings of dies to produce product within tolerances and quality standards.
• Start machine and monitor operations for malfunctions and defects.
• Maintain, oil, and clean machines regularly.
• Drain and clean oil trays; dispose of scrap and sweep floors for housekeeping.
• Ensure all quality and safety documentation is completed with oversight.
