MCM Staffing LLC is seeking a production operator to run cold heading machines in a high-volume automotive components environment. You will set up, monitor, adjust tooling and troubleshoot to keep output within quality standards.

Candidate should read blueprints and use precision measuring tools. This role supports 10-hour shifts (Mon-Thu) with 1st or 2nd shift options, in Rochester Hills, MI, with pay around $26+ per hour.

Qualifications

• Experience operating cold heading machines preferred.
• Automotive manufacturing or metal forming experience a plus.
• Able to read blueprints and quality specifications.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate cold heading machines to produce metal fasteners and components.
• Monitor machines to meet quality, efficiency and production targets.
• Perform tooling changes, adjustments, and minor machine troubleshooting.
• Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges and visual methods.
• Ensure parts meet customer specifications and quality standards.
• Load raw materials into machines and maintain proper feed.
• Complete production reports, downtime logs and quality docs.
• Follow safety procedures and manufacturing best practices.
• Maintain a clean, 5S-compliant work area.
