Job description

Pay: 18.00-28.00 per hour (based on experience)

Location: Kentwood, Michigan

Shift: 1ST and 2ND Shift
Mon‑Fri 6:00am – 2:30pm, Mon‑Thu 2:00pm – 12:30am

Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cold Heading Machine Operator to set up, operate, and maintain cold heading equipment, including 1‑die 2‑blow (Hartford and Nakamashad’s) and 4‑ or 5‑station (ChunZu and National Machinery) machines. This role ensures the efficient production of high‑quality, precision‑formed products that meet customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up, operate, and adjust cold heading machines according to part drawings and dimensional requirements.
• Monitor part dimensions and quality using assigned gauges, micrometers, and calipers.
• Perform and record machine adjustments as needed to maintain product quality within tolerance.
• Lubricate and grease machines regularly to ensure optimal performance.
• Complete daily maintenance checklists and production reports accurately and on time.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to maintain safety and efficiency.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
