Worthington Enterprises is seeking a Cold Header Machinist/Operator for the night shift (6pm–6am) on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule. The role involves setting up, operating, and maintaining cold heading and related machining equipment to meet production schedules with minimal downtime.

You will read blueprints, perform in-process inspections, and use precision measuring tools to ensure tolerances, while following safety and Lean initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Set up, operate, troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on cold headers/cold formers and multi-spindle screw machines.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to machine parts to specification while maintaining required tolerances.
• Perform in-process inspections to ensure efficient and accurate production prior to approval.
• Inspect finished product to verify conformance with quality standards and specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Work independently and take ownership of assigned equipment and tasks.
• Identify and communicate opportunities for process improvement.
• Follow all plant safety rules, policies, and procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.
• Perform all duties in a safe manner and in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Participate in Lean Manufacturing and transformation initiatives, including safety initiatives.
• Assist team members as needed to support production goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Perform other duties as assigned by lead, supervisor, or manager.
