Job summary

SFS Group USA Inc in Reading, PA is seeking a Cold Forming Operator for our 2nd shift to join the cold forming team at our Reading plant. You will manage set ups, changeovers, and ensure workflow aligns with the production plan while upholding safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2–5 years in manufacturing, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular basis.
• Ability to become forklift certified.
• Ability to stand for extended periods; OSHA knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Complete set ups and changeovers on machines.
• Provide product flow in the cold forming department according to the production plan.
• Preventative maintenance as required.
• Troubleshoot machinery issues as needed.
• Train employees on new cold forming and bimet machine set up and usage.
• Data entry of work orders and updates to status.
• Champions quality in all work.
• Performs material handling tasks.
