Job summary

Eurest USA is hiring for a full-time food preparer at SC Johnson Waxdale in Sturtevant, Wisconsin. The role involves preparing meats, cheeses, and salads, ensuring food safety and cleanliness, and working in a fast-paced environment.

Schedule is Monday–Friday from 6:00 am to 1:30 pm with some weekend hours. Compensation is $18.00 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits including paid time off and health insurance.

Job description

Job Summary

Cuts delicatessen meats, vegetables, and cheeses with a slicing machine or knives, and prepares and serves sandwiches, salads, and other cold food items in a fast‑paced foodservice environment.

Responsibilities

• Obtain the daily production schedule and preparation requirements from the Chef.
• Prepare sandwich meats, cheeses, condiments, and salads following approved production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and portion control.
• Stock and replenish deli/cold products and condiments in accordance with merchandising guidelines.
• Move pans, kettles, and trays of food between the workstation, stove, and refrigerator.
• Store food in designated areas following HACCP standard wrapping, dating, and rotation procedures.
• Clean, sanitize, and maintain counters, work surfaces, refrigeration units, and floors in the preparation and serving areas.
• Use a cutting board to place meat, cheese, or vegetables, and cut slices to the designated thickness using a slicing machine.
• Coordinate with coworkers to ensure compliance with company service standards, inventory, and cash control procedures.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment to satisfy sanitation, ServSafe, and safety requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Location & Schedule

SC Johnson Waxdale – 8311 16th Street, Sturtevant, WI 53177 (positions located at this address). Full‑time schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–1:30 pm; 1 Saturday and 1 Sunday per month, 10:00 am–1:00 pm.

Compensation

$18.00 to $19.00 per hour.
