Job summary

Allied Services seeks a Cold Food Preparation Worker to support the Dietary Group. You will prepare, mix and plate ingredients for salads, desserts, beverages and other cold dishes for clients and staff.

You will ensure accuracy, portion control and sanitary food handling in a fast-paced environment. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of institutional or commercial food service experience, and strong verbal/written communication skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years institutional or commercial food service experience required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to read and perform simple calculations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, mix and plate ingredients for salads, desserts, beverages and similar cold dishes for clients and staff.
• Follow age-specific guidelines and maintain food safety and sanitation.
• Operate and care for food service equipment as directed.
• Collaborate with Dietary Group Leader and other staff as needed.
