Tyson Foods in Haltom City, TX is hiring a Forklift Operator for the D Shift (Wed-Sat, 5:30pm-4:00am) earning $22.30 per hour. The role involves moving materials, loading/unloading, and working in a cold, damp environment with temperatures from -10 to 34 degrees.

Applicants should have 12 months of stand-up forklift experience in the last 3 years, be able to lift up to 40 lbs (70+ lbs for material handling), and be willing to train for forklift license and RF equipment.

Qualifications

• 12 months Stand up Forklift operator experience in the last 3 years.
• Cold storage experience preferred.
• Must be able to meet minimum productivity percentage.
• Must be able to continuously pick up to 40 lbs.
• Must be willing to train for and pass forklift license training, as well as read and understand to operate RF equipment.
• Must be willing to work overtime and weekends.
• Must be willing to accept and carry through on directions given.
• Must be willing to learn other duties.
• Proficiency in reading and writing.
• ability to complete on-the-job paperwork and effectively communicate across all management levels

Responsibilities

• Transport and unload materials in a timely manner.
• Operate forklifts and stand-up lifts safely.
