Job summary

United States Cold Storage, Inc. is hiring for a full-time warehouse position in the Operations department. You will contribute to safe product handling, loading/unloading trailers, and maintaining accurate inventory in a cold-chain environment.

The role requires lifting up to 70 lbs, working in temperatures from +50°F to -30°F, and operating scanners and warehouse equipment. Minimal travel and steady, safety-focused teamwork are expected.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Bend and lift up to 50 lbs regularly; lift up to 70 lbs occasionally with assistance.
• Work in a temperature range from +50°F to -30°F with moderate noise levels.
• Stand and walk for extended periods.
• Operate scanners, tablets, radios, phones, computers, and other essential warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to facility operations through proper product handling and safety standards.
• Unload and load trailers verifying correct product stacking and that product is not mixed on pallets.
• Ensure customer product is accounted for and within temperature range prior to storage.
• Identify and report damaged product, shortages, and overages to supervisor.
• Assist in physical inventories to safeguard customer product.
• Pull and prepare product for shipment with correct lot numbers and location.
• Stack pallets and wrap them to ensure product stability.
• Perform picking duties efficiently to meet service standards.
• Move product from staging to railcars/trailers safely and efficiently.
• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely; maintain a neat, clean work area.
• Inspect equipment daily for safe operation.
