Job summary

Rook Coffee Roasters in New Jersey is seeking part-time team members to support the roastery and production areas. No prior coffee experience is required; training will be provided, and the role emphasizes hands-on learning and safety.

Weekend availability and a positive, proactive approach are important. You will produce cold brew to high standards, maintain equipment, package products, and assist with inventory and packaging tasks.

Qualifications

• Weekend availability required.
• Minimum 6 months commitment to the role.
• Positive attitude and reliability are essential.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Prior dishwasher, barback, busser, laborer, or kitchen experience is not required but a plus.

Responsibilities

• Produce cold brew to Rook’s highest standards.
• Maintain and clean roastery equipment and production areas.
• Package cold brew kegs, bottles, and boxes.
• Handle inventory counts of coffee and supplies; assist with forklift movement.
• Support merchandise organization, counts, and distribution.
