Job summary

HPS Micron Group LLC, part of the Hammond Power Solutions network, is hiring a Coil Operator I for our coil assembly team. You will produce high-quality transformers, use winding machines, calipers, and tape measures, and perform quality checks within standard cycle times.

You will work in a collaborative manufacturing environment emphasizing safety, 5S organization, and teamwork. Relevant hand tools experience and strong English communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Proficient in using hand tools and measuring instruments within specified tolerances.
• Capable of reading Bills of Materials (BOM) and Order Management Sheets (OMS).
• Knowledge of dispensing machine operations and equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Produce quality transformers according to established standards and timelines.
• Utilize precision tools to ensure accurate measurements and specifications.
• Perform quality checks on finished work and maintain required cycle times.
• Monitor equipment performance and conduct preventive maintenance as needed.
• Collaborate with team and communicate status, safety concerns, and tasks effectively.
