Job summary

The Ideal Tridon Smyrna plant is hiring for a Coil Loader and Floop Operator on 1st and 3rd shifts. The role covers setting up and operating machines, handling parts, packing, and performing quality checks in a manufacturing environment with possible overtime and weekend work.

Starting hourly pay is $21.00 with a $1.50 differential on the 3rd shift. Candidates should have a HS diploma and may need Hi-Lo certification; prior manufacturing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Hi-Lo Certification preferred, will be trained and certified on the hi-lo.
• (1) year of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Must be able to clear drug screen and background check.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Assembles, and fabricates metal parts by operating mechanical equipment.
• Uses a machine operated welder to create continuity between new and (WIP) product
• Assembles parts into sub-units or complete units.
• Uses forklift/ overhead crane to restock metal coils
• Monitors proficiency of machine performance and ensures continuity in the manufacturing process and
• Completes low level maintenance to ensure machine capability
• Takes measurements of material to ensure material is meeting specification
