Job summary

The Brazer position at BAC is part of the coil manufacturing team and focuses on brazing copper components using single- and dual-tip oxy-fuel torches. You will follow standard work, ensure quality, and support other departments as volume dictates.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, heating and bonding joints, cleaning joints, and maintaining daily production goals while adhering to safety rules and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• Six months of brazing or welding experience with oxy-fuel torches.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Basic math and measurement skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and dimensional drawings.
• Braze copper components using oxy-fuel torches to join pieces.
• Guide torch and rod along joints to heat to brazing temperature and bond parts.
• Clean joints and examine parts for defective joints and re-braze as needed.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain 5S in the department.
