Job summary

BAC is seeking a Brazer/Operator to join the coil manufacturing team. You will read blueprints, interpret drawings, and braze copper components using oxy-fuel torches to assemble coil units, following standard work and safety rules.

You will work as part of the plant assembly team, flex to other departments as needed, maintain 5S, meet production goals, and demonstrate teamwork and commitment to quality.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months of related experience in brazing/welding using oxy-fuel torches.
• Experience reading blueprints and tolerances.
• Ability to interpret data charts and select torch tips, flux, and brazing alloy.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and dimensional drawings.
• Braise copper components using oxy-fuel torches to join pieces.
• Guide torch along joint to heat, melt braze alloy, and bond parts.
• Clean joints as directed and re-braze defective joints if needed.
• Connect hoses from torch to regulator valves and manage safety PPE.
• Meet daily production goals and maintain 5S in the department.
