Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Coil Builder for the 3rd shift in York, PA. You will assemble coils per specification, label them, and move units using cranes. You will complete daily paperwork and help ensure quality during production.

The role requires reading a tape measure, operating basic hand tools, and prior machine experience. Safety rules and PPE usage are mandatory, with a strong focus on lean manufacturing and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Read and write English.
• Know safety policies.
• Able to read a tape measure.
• Prior machine operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify proper parts from specification sheet and assemble per spec.
• Label coils with build day and Mfg #.
• Move coils using cranes to expansion area.
• Complete quality paperwork and daily hours.
• Inspect coils for defects and rework if needed.
• Train new or existing employees when required.
• Maintain clean work area and wear PPE.
• Follow safety and environmental rules.
